Two local high school graduates, Sherrie Marie Csuhta of Suffolk and Joshua David Rice of Smithfield, have been awarded $1,500 scholarships by the East West Foundation through the Bill Jessee Memorial Scholarship Fund. The fund was established by East West Foundation in 2006 and named after engineer Bill Jessee, a longtime employee of East West Communities. The students are eligible to re-apply for the scholarship throughout their four years of college.
